• How does Belotero Intense with Lidocaine work?

  BELOTERO® Intense with Lidocaine is the ideal filler for correcting fine to deep lines. Belotero® Intense integrates seamlessly into the skin. The excellent tissue integration minimises skin irregularities and provides natural looking results. Can be used to create a volumising effect to nasolabial folds, marionette lines, lip contours, lip volume, oral commissures and cupid’s bow. The product contains lidocaine, a powerful anaesthetic, for a more comfortable injection.

  Belotero is manufactured using a special technique implementing Cohesive Polydensified Matrix (CPM) technology. It is this method which creates the unique elasticity and polydensified properties in Belotero which allows it to be so compatible with the human body.

  Belotero gel gives an extremely effective result straight away following injection into the deeper layers of the skin dermis, and continues to work over the subsequent weeks and months. It’s filling properties smooth out deeper wrinkles, foreheads lines and crows feet around the eyes, which were previously noticeable on the surface of the skin.

  Added Lidocaine makes the gel application virtually pain free for patients, where the anaesthetic effects are quick.

  Ingredients & Concentration:

  Biofermented non animal hyaluronic acid (25.5mg/ml) in a 27G needle.

  Lidocaine.

  What are the associated side effects with Belotero Intense with Lidocaine?

  Some swelling and redness may occur, as well as itchiness and pain. Tenderness at the site of injection is common too. Side effects usually disappear after a few days and can take up to a week for lip injections.

  Please note there should be no lumps produced from the use of Belotero. However due to this product being fairly new on the market, it is too early to say whether such rare reactions may occur as in other hyaluronic acid fillers.
